Days 1–2: arrive and settle in
Arrive through Shannon where routes allow, transfer to Limerick or your confirmed base and keep the first evening light. Use the following day for Limerick city, Adare village or a short local experience rather than a long cross-country drive.
Confirm tickets, identification, bag rules and event transport before competition days. Keep essential details available offline and allow for changed departure points or security instructions.
Days 3–5: keep event days clear
Competition runs from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September 2027. Treat each day as a full event commitment, including security, queues and transport. Avoid booking distant dinners, tours or accommodation changes around the sessions.
Visitors attending fewer days can use a free day for Limerick, Bunratty or a short County Clare outing, but should still protect the following morning’s transport plan.
Days 6–7: choose one strong extension
After the event, continue north-west towards the Burren and Cliffs of Moher or south towards Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. Choose one direction for a seven-day trip; attempting both produces more driving than experience.
Longer visitors can connect the route with Galway, Cork or another carefully paced section of the Wild Atlantic Way. The site itinerary planner can map stops and export the plan to a calendar.
